Choose from one of the two options below:

1. Refer a provider

The GeneSight test must be ordered by a provider who manages your medication treatment. If you share your provider’s information, we can check if they’re registered to order the GeneSight test. If they are not registered, we’ll reach out to the provider on your behalf to explain the GeneSight test and ordering process. Any provider who can prescribe medications can be registered to order the GeneSight test. This list includes but is not limited to:

  • Primary care physicians
  • Nurse practitioners
  • Physician assistants
  • Psychiatrists

2. Find a Provider

If you currently don’t have a provider, below is a list of healthcare providers who are registered to order the GeneSight test in your area. Contact them to learn more about the GeneSight test and if they are accepting new patients. Please note that this list does not show all registered providers. If you don’t see your provider, please inquire using the form above.

  • If your healthcare provider is not registered to order the GeneSight test, we will assist them with the registration process.
  • If they are registered, we will reach out to them about your interest in the GeneSight test and assist you with the next steps.

What happens next?

  • Patients or Caregivers
    • A registered healthcare provider will need to order the test so they can use the results to inform your treatment.
    • If you don’t have a healthcare provider, visit our Find a Provider tool. With Find a Provider, you’ll find a directory of healthcare providers who order the GeneSight test. Once you have contacted and met with a healthcare provider, they may administer the GeneSight test for you either in clinic or via GeneSight at Home.
    • If your healthcare provider is not registered to order the GeneSight test, we will assist them with the registration process to order the test.
    • We will reach out to address any questions you may have and help you through the process.
  • Prescribing Healthcare Providers
    • A team member will reach out to you shortly to address your questions and/or begin the registration process to provide testing.
  • Office Staff or Non-Prescribing Clinicians
    • If you have not provided the healthcare provider’s information, please do so here. The GeneSight test can only be ordered by a healthcare provider with prescribing authority.
    • If you have provided the healthcare provider’s information, a team member will reach out to you shortly to begin the registration process and walk you through the next steps for them to provide testing.
