The GeneSight Psychotropic test is a genetic test that shows your provider how your genes may affect medication outcomes. The GeneSight test may reveal which medications to treat depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other mental health conditions require dose adjustments, be less likely to work, or have an increased risk of side effects based on your DNA.
The test is a simple cheek swab taken in your healthcare provider’s office or can be sent by your clinician to be taken in the convenience of your home.
Any clinician who can write prescriptions can order the test for you.
If you are interested to learn more about the GeneSight test and want to see if your clinician is interested in registering or is already registered, take the next step below. Our team will be in touch to let you know if they’re registered or interested and we will assist you with next steps. The GeneSight test must be ordered by a registered clinician.
Check out our Find a Provider tool for a list of providers already registered to order the GeneSight test in your area. Find a Provider represents a select group of providers who have opted into the tool but does not represent the total population of clinicians registered to order GeneSight.
