Many government and commercial insurance plans cover GeneSight. Plus, Assurex Health has developed the GeneSight Financial AssistanceProgram to help make GeneSight affordable for those who qualify.
If you and your patient have determined that GeneSight can benefit your patient’s treatment, Assurex Health has created a variety of patient assistance programs to make GeneSight accessible regardless of income level. These programs are available to patients whose insurance is out of network with Assurex Health.
When Assurex Health files insurance claims on your patient’s behalf, and a balance is due, the patient will receive an invoice and application for Assurex Health’s needs-based Financial Assistance Program (FAP). If accepted into the FAP, your patient will receive an adjusted invoice with maximum out-of-pocket expense indicated. Payment can be made by check or credit card.
All terms of the Financial Assistance Program are subject to change. The program is only available for patients with valid insurance that is out of network when the test is administered and will be processed only after the claim with the insurance company has been resolved. This program is not available for patients who are eligible for a state or federally funded healthcare program (e.g. Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE®, state assistance programs, etc.). This program may not be available in all states. Other restrictions may also apply.
